A combinatorial approach to surgery formulas in Heegaard Floer homology

Abstract

Using the combinatorial approach to Heegaard Floer homology, we obtain a relatively easy formula for computation of the groups $\widehat{\text{ HF}}\left(Y_{p∕q}\left(K\right),\mathbb{Z}∕2\mathbb{Z}\right)$, where $Y_{p∕q}\left(K\right)$ is the three-manifold obtained by $p∕q$–surgery on a knot $K$ inside a homology sphere $Y$.
