Approximately Ternary Homomorphisms and Derivations on C ∗ -Ternary Algebras

Abstract

We investigate the stability and superstability of ternary homomorphisms between $C^{\mathrm{\{\backslash ast\}}}$-ternary algebras and derivations on $C^{\mathrm{\{\backslash ast\}}}$-ternary algebras, associated with the following functional equation $f\left(\right(x_2-x_1)/3)+f\left(\right(x_1-3x_3)/3)+f\left(\right(3x_1+3x_3-x_2)/3)=f\left(x_1\right)$.
