2014 Generalizations of Krasnoselskiĭ's fixed point theorem in cones and applications

Abstract

We give some generalizations of Krasnosel'skiĭ's fixed point theorem in cones, replacing norms with functionals. We will apply these theorems to obtain at least one positive solution for the boundary value problems for second-order differential equations. Two positive solution results are also obtained.
