Abstract

We give explicit multiplicities and formulas for multiplicities of the characters appearing in the decomposition of the induced character IndCS2n(σ)S2n1C, where σ is an n-cycle, CS2n(σ) is the centralizer of σ in S2n, and 1C is the trivial character on CS2n(σ).
