2014 Jordan-Von Neumann constant for Banaś-Frączek space

Abstract

For any $\lambda\geq1$, $\mathbb{R}^2_\lambda$ is Banaś-Frączek space, the exact value of the Jordan-von Neumann constant $C_{NJ}(\mathbb{R}^2_\lambda)$ is investigated. By careful calculations, $C_{NJ}(\mathbb{R}^2_\lambda)=2-\frac{1}{\lambda^{2}}$ is given.
